This study was carried out by the Department for the Environment with the financial support of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and with the assistance of Professor Touria BENAZZOU from the Faculty of Sciences in Rabat. The study on Moroccan mammals represents a scientific contribution to its efforts to implement the Convention on Biological Diversity.
