Draft decree No. 2.12.484 adopted for the application of law No. 29-05 relating to the protection of species of flora and fauna and the control of their trade, promulgated by Dahir No. 1-11-84 of 29 Rejeb 1432 (2 July 2011), published in the Official Bulletin No. 5962 of 19 Shaabane 1432 (21 July 2011), aims to specify the methods of application of this law, in particular the list species of wild fauna and flora concerned by the provisions of this law and the procedures for the issuance of permits, certificates and authorizations for import, export, re-export, possession, collection, collection, introduction and reintroduction into the wild of species of wild fauna and flora included in the categories of law 29-05.

The draft decree consists of five chapters, dealing with:

1. The lists of species of wild fauna and flora concerned by the application of the provisions of this law and its implementing texts;
2. Provisions relating to import permits, export permits and re-export certificates;
3. Provisions relating to the control of national trade in species of wild flora and fauna;
4. Provisions relating to the introduction or reintroduction into the natural environment of specimens of species of wild flora and fauna;
5. The various and final provisions.
