The National Marine Algae Study has identified all the species that exist on the national territory and indicates those that are threatened, endemic, of socio-economic interest and introduced or invasive. The Study was carried out by Professor Hassan Riadi from the Faculty of Sciences of Tetouan under the direction of the Department of Environment.
