Jbel Tizirane (Jbel Tizirane) is a mountain (class T - hypsographic) in Tanger-Tetouan), having the Africa/Middle East region code. It is a mountain with a cold humid Supramedmediterranean bioclimate and a very cold perhumid Mediterranean montane. The site is dominated by Cedar Vegetation with Quercus. pyrenaica present downwards, in the floristic cortege made up of numerous Rifan and Andalusian endemics.

Along with Afechtal, SIBE represents the most oceanic, most mesophilic, siliceous cedar grove with more than 2000 mm of annual precipitation, but also among the most agricultural in the Central Rif. The Cedar forest is fairly well preserved covering most of the site, very dynamic and developing in very good ecological conditions. Note the presence at the top of a cedar “bonzai” formation given the extreme conditions for the development of trees, which is quite original and unique.
