The highest mountain in the Rif, 2450 m, is part of the geological unit of Ketama which is essentially shale with a cold humid Supramedmediterranean climate at the bottom - Humid Mediterranean mountaineer very cold towards the summit. In this site we find the Cedar Grove and we notice that almost all of the SIBE with a very diverse floristic procession, Zenaie, oak grove. It is one of the best Moroccan cedar groves as well as the site is very rich in biodiversity and represents a fairly well preserved ecosystem but locally, dynamic and developing in very good ecological conditions.
