  • Naaya Event Celebration of the International Day for Biological Diversity on May 22

Morocco, like the countries party to the Convention on Biological Diversity, celebrates the International Day for Biological Diversity on May 22 of each year. "Our solutions are in nature" is the theme chosen by the United Nations for the year 2020.

On this occasion, and given the exceptional conditions of the epidemic (Covid-19), International Biodiversity Day 2020 will be commemorated through its very first online awareness campaign.

To this end, the Department of the Environment is organizing a webinar which will be chaired by the Minister of Energy, Mines and the Environment, on Friday May 22, 2020 from 10:30 am to focus on the hope, solidarity and the importance of working together at all levels to build a future of life in harmony with nature.
